Eni nears €750M sale of renewables unit stake to EIP - Bloomberg Aliaksandr Litviniuk/iStock Editorial via Getty Images Eni (NYSE: E ) is near a deal to sell just under 10% of its Plenitude renewables unit to Energy Infrastructure Partners for ~€750M ($800M), Bloomberg reported Wednesday. Plenitude is set to be valued at ~€8B in the deal, which could be announced by the end of this month, according to the report , which said talks are in the final stages but that a definitive decision has not been reached. Eni's ( E ) plan for an IPO for Plenitude was postponed last year with Europe in an energy crisis, but the company still aims to proceed with the listing on the Euronext Milan exchange when market conditions permit, likely in 2024, CEO Claudio Descalzi has said. Plenitude, which is targeting ~€900M in EBITDA for this year, was set up to pool Eni's ( E ) energy retailing and renewables businesses.
