Fire crews responded to a machine fire at Elmet Technologies on Saturday night where hydrogen gas was also leaking, fire officials said. Maine's Total Weather
Flames 25-feet high were shooting from a machine when fire crews arrived to the Lisbon Street location just before 9 p.m., crews said. No one was hurt and only the machine was damaged. The leak was also stopped. Damage is estimated at $20,000. Elmet manufactures metal products out of its Lewiston headquarters. Recommended
