Peter Runcie from Natirar with Narelle Underwood and Wayne Patterson from the NSW Department of Customer Service - Spatial Services. Quite unlike previous years, Covid made the 2021 iTnews Benchmark Awards celebration an intimate affair. KPMG's Guy Holland setting the scene after a difficult 12 months. iTnews' William Maher on the judges' difficult task of narrowing down almost 100 submissions into eight distinct categories. Mel Faeghy from Service NSW accepting the State Government award for the COVID Safe check-in solution. Wayne Patterson from the NSW Department of Customer Service - Spatial Services, which was a finalist in the State Government category for the NSW Digital Twin. Anthony Collins from Randwick Council, which was a finalist in the Local Government category for its Smart Coogee Beach solution. Samantha Sinnayah from the Digital Transformation Agency, which was a finalist in the Federal Government category for its myGov Enhancement. Chris Connor and Davey Wang from the Commonwealth Bank accepting the Finance award for the IT Risk Stability Score solution. Scott Barnett and Lester Chua from AMP, which was a finalist in the Finance category for its Future AMP Bank Program. Ben Waterhouse from Coates Hire, which was a finalist in the Industrial & Primary Production category for its Rental Industrial IoT solution. Darius Afshar from HCF, which was a finalist in the Health category for its Phoenix systems transformation program. Bronwyn Shumack and Pranay Mehta from eHealth NSW, which was highly commended in the Health category for its incident management system ims+. Chris Connor and Davey Wang from the Commonwealth Bank accepting the Project of the Year award for the IT Risk Stability Score solution.
