EcoVent Systems, the Boston-based maker of a smart, room-by-room heating and cooling system, officially announced in a press release its latest round of funding, which the Boston Business Journal had reported in June. Total funding to date for the company is now about $10 million. Investors include Emerson Climate Technologies, a business segment of Emerson (NYSE: EMR). Recent story: MIT-born maker of heating and cooling systems raising more funding Waltham-based CallMiner , whose software captures and analyzes communications with customers for businesses, has raised $10.3 million in new funding, according to regulatory filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The company has raised about $20 million over the past two years. Previous investors in the company have included In-Q-Tel , the venture capital arm of the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency, as well as Sigma Partners and Village Ventures. SolidEnergy Systems Corp., a Waltham startup born out of MIT, is working to revolutionize the materials that go into a battery instead of changing the way that those batteries are produced. The result is a so-called "anode-less" battery, which has twice the amount energy in the same space that a rechargeable lithium-ion battery would take up. The company has raised $4 million, out of a planned $10 million funding round, according to regulatory filings with the SEC. Recent story: Waltham startup aiming to make your smartphone battery last much longer Resilience Therapeutics, a Cambridge-based drug discovery company that aims to develop a cure for post-traumatic stress disorder, is closer to raising $3 million in new investor funding. The startup secured $2.9 million in equity, according to a regulatory filing with the SEC on July 30. In June, lawyers for an MIT scientist filed a lawsuit in Suffolk County court on Monday seeking damages in an ownership dispute involving the founding of Resilience Therapeutics.
