Venture Capital | 6 October 2015 Pune Based DocPlexus Raises Funds by Ahemad Shaikh @ahemad DocPlexus.in, an online platform which connects healthcare professionals from India, has raised about R4.6 Cr ($700 K) from ) from Uniqorn Ventures and Austria based ASP Consulting. The funding amount will be use towards capturing medical professionals around the market to develop a strong medical networking market and launching its product on iOS, which is currently available on web and Android app. Founded in 2014 by Phanish Chandra, DocPlexus (operated by DocPlexus Online Services Pvt Ltd) is an online platform for doctors where they can securely communicate with peers and other health-care service providers. It helps doctors make better medical decisions by giving them a platform to communicate and share complex cases and patient issues, and be updated about the latest news, CMEs and medical innovations in their area of interest. The platform gives access to an extensive and refined network of medical professionals with 110,000 Indian doctors as its members and aims to to reach 150,000 by March next year.
