Mourant Consulting appoints Deputy Managing Director to its Jersey team Mourant, a law firm-led professional services firm, has announced the appointment of Jon Stevens as Deputy Managing Director of Mourant Consulting, its global specialist consulting business. Jon (pictured) has joined the Mourant Consulting team based in the firm’s Jersey office. His appointment is the latest high-profile addition to the fast growing team, which includes Sally Rochester, who was appointed Director in September 2022, and Manus Carvill, who joined the firm as Associate Director in March this year. Jon is a chartered accountant with over a decade of experience in the risk and compliance sector, including as Director of Policy at the Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC), and most recently as an Executive Director and Head of Risk and Compliance at a regulated fund and trust business in Jersey. Jon has worked for Big Four accountancy firms specialising in audit, assurance and advisory work, with a focus on regulatory compliance; and in his time at the JFSC held various senior policy and supervisory positions. Commenting on the appointment, Mourant Consulting Managing Director, Mike Jones, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Jon to our leadership team here at Mourant Consulting.
