Verdict Staff Share Article US-based insurance brokerage Arthur J. Gallagher & Co is continuing its acquisition spree with the purchase of Wayne, Pennsylvania- based JP Warner Associates. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. JP Warner Associates, which does business as Warner Benefits is a traditional employee benefits consultant founded in 1997. The firm, which maintains office in Wayne and Lehigh Valley in Pennsylvania, provides group benefit plan and human resource consulting services. It also offers individual coverages to its clients. Jonathan Warner and his team in Wayne will continue to work out of their existing locations. They will be under the direction of Gallagher’s Atlantic region employee benefit consulting and brokerage operations head Tom Belmont Jr. Commenting on the deal, Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. chairman president and CEO Patrick Gallagher, Jr. said: “Jon and his team are highly respected and will add to Gallagher’s deep consulting capabilities in the greater Philadelphia metropolitan area, as well as expand our services into the Lehigh Valley. “We are delighted to welcome them to our growing company.” Illinois-headquartered Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has operations in 49 countries. The firm provides client-service capabilities in over 150 countries across the world through a network of correspondent brokers and consultants. Earlier this month, the brokerage acquired Brisbane, Queensland-based Effectus Consulting for an unknown sum. The company also purchased Idaho-based full-service insurance agency Cunnington & Associates , Nevada-based CRES Insurance Services and full-service wholesale insurance broker CMS in New York this year.
