, March 23rd, 2017. Croosing , an Israeli startup, has raised $1.25 million in seed funding from Ramot Investments in its bid to reinvent the hyperlink. Croosing is developing its proprietary “superlinks” technology, a new generation of hyperlinks that stays with the user after they’ve clicked. Superlinks are designed for brands and creators to bring users to multiple webpages through one link and add personalised content like tags and comments as well as lead users to specific points on a page. Superlinks are currently only available for Chrome and Safari. There are no plans to support any other browsers, the company said. With its new funds, the startup plans to launch the mobile version of superlinks and release its SDK for developers. The company has also announced a collaboration with Ireland’s Kooomo , a SaaS ecommerce company that will integrate the superlink tech into its platform. Croosing has a previous research partnership with Sapir College to develop analytic tools to help customers monetise their superlinks. Croosing is “reshaping the Internet” and how people share content, according to Ilan Ramot, CEO of Ramot Investments, which led the round. “With the completion of our funding round, we are excited to expand our reach to mobile users, bringing a whole new experience of superlinks,” said Croosing CEO Uri Ravin.
