Provider of infrastructure software that helps individuals and organizations take control of diverse and dynamic processes. In contrast with process automation solutions that only support predictable, highly structured business processes, the company's process personalization technology gives each participant in a process the exact information and ability to take action they need, enabling rapid process innovation. The company's unique peer-to-peer architecture extends existing software and systems, unifying manual and automated tasks into seamless processes that flow and function independently of their supporting applications. The result is more efficient and personalized processes that foster collaboration throughout the company and across networks of customers, suppliers, and partners.

8th June 2023 Consilient, a US-based regtech “aiming to transform how the industry prevents financial crime”, has appointed Jeremy Kedziora PhD as director of data science. Jeremy Kedziora PhD. Image source: LinkedIn Kedziora brings 17 years of experience as a researcher and scientist focused on developing new methods in machine learning (ML), Bayesian inference and game theory (a strategic decision-making model which assumes players have incomplete information). Previously, Kedziora was director of data science and analytics at Northwestern Mutual, where he managed the development of cybersecurity ML. He also held the same role at Giant Oak, a developer of big data tools for financial and governmental organisations to combat criminal activities, where he was focused on natural language processing (NLP). He served nine years at the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) as a chief methodologist where he led applied R&D efforts in data science and modelling. Laurence Hamilton, chief commercial officer at Consilient, says Kedziora’s “passion and experience for data science will help us to further enhance our solutions and move the industry forward in its use of advanced AI technology”. Founded in 2020 through a partnership between risk management firm K2 Integrity and the aforementioned Giant Oak, Consilient describes itself as “the 21st century answer for best-in-class anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism (AML/CFT) compliance solutions”. Consilient’s solution is a behavioural-based, ML-driven utility that enables financial institutions to federate and share insights about financial crime risks while ensuring data privacy protection and localisation restrictions. It uses federated learning, which allows the utilisation of data sets in different institutions, databases, and even jurisdictions to discover previously unknown but existing risks. Consilient is based in Washington DC.
