(Conenza Photo via Facebook) IntraWorlds , a Munich-based talent relationship management software provider, is merging with Conenza , a Seattle startup launched in 2006 by Tony Audino , co-founder of Voyager Capital and founder of the Microsoft Alumni Network. The two companies are similar, but Conenza focuses solely on helping corporations — including several Fortune 500 companies — manage their alumni programs, with the goal of creating brand advocates and attracting talent. The merger will help IntraWorlds expand their offering while giving Conenza global reach. Audino spent seven years as Microsoft executive from 1987 to 1994 and launched one of the first formal corporate alumni communities in 1995. The Microsoft Alumni Network now has more than 48,000 former employees across 51 countries. Audino, a five-time founder, also launched Voyager Capital in 1997 and was managing director at the Seattle venture capital firm — which just raised $100 million for its fifth fund — until 2006. Terms of the deal were not disclosed; the merger will be effective Jan. 1. IntraWorlds, founded in 2001, has 63 employees on LinkedIn, while Conenza has less than 20 — all of whom will be staying on through the deal, a Conenza spokesperson confirmed. Audino will be co-CEO of the new company, leading the alumni business globally and running North American operations. So proud of our collective teams and super excited about the future! https://t.co/KgTLuFKMfW
