By FinSMEs Suba Seeds , a Longiano, Forlì-Cesena, Italy-based seeds production and trade company, acquired Condor Seed Production , a Yuma, Arizona-based provider of commercial vegetable and herb seeds for the wholesale and commercial grower market. The amount of the transaction was not disclosed. The acquisition will provide Suba Seeds with high quality productive capacity (which add to the one already operating in Italy, France, and New Zealand, Tanzania, and China) and increase the turnover to $100m (€46m in 2012 according to reports). Established by Augusto Suzzi and controlled (52%) by Fondo Quadrivio Q2 (which is managed by Quadrivio SGR ), the company is led CEO Giuseppe Tumedei. It specializes in the production and distribution of seeds for vegetables. It sells its conventional and organic seeds in 80 countries worldwide with a particular focus on the Asian markets. FinSMEs
