Funds will help support many of Trans Canada Trail’s programs and initiatives Canadian Grocer Staff Who: Clif Bar What: The brand has donated $33,500 to the Trans Canada Trail in recognition of Global Accessibility Awareness Day (May 18). The campaign will feature Clif athletes, influencers, Paralympic athletes and leaders in the accessibility sector to learn how they #accessoutdoors, what #trailsforall and trail accessibility mean to them, and discover their favourite stretches of the Trans Canada Trail. "Trans Canada Trail's dedication to helping Canadians of all abilities access the great outdoors aligns perfectly with Clif Bar & Company's mission to feed the adventure in everyone," said Hilary Hanley, managing director for Clif’s Canadian business, in a statement. "We're thrilled to further our partnership with Trans Canada Trail and to support innovative programs that help more Canadians enjoy nature." Funds will help support many of Trans Canada Trail’s programs and initiatives, including trail enhancements; an accessibility mapping program; the All Persons Trails program; and building community capacity to improve accessibility.
