McCallum previously co-founded and served as CEO of SSD-catching software firm VeloBit (acquired by HGST), and multicore software firm Cilk Arts (acquired by Intel). He also previously served as a general partner at Bessemer Venture Partners and Flagship Ventures. Localytics said it's also hired Dave Witting as vice president of customer success, to oversee account management, technical services and customer support. Witting was previously VP of global customer success for online video software firm Brightcove . Before that he worked as a marketing manager for Microsoft and Groove Networks. Localytics has raised a total of $8.75 million raised since its founding in 2008.
