Raffa FL, Castion and Nuria Scarp headline the second edition of PUNX Fest, the electronic music festival that aims to bring culture to the young public of the Baix Llobregat and Barcelona. The project debuted in April 2022 with success, and this year it returns to the same stage at Nau 2 in Ca n’Oliveres de Martorell with Electronic Dance, Tech House and Electro Pop as protagonists. Punx Fest 2023 is promoted by Martorell City Council and has luxury professional collaborators such as AllFest, Big Music Group, Hire Out, and Vicious Magazine. He Mainstage will feature headliners Raffa FL, Castion and Nuria Scarp, who will rock the crowd with their innovative music and skill on the decks. This main stage will also feature Brais and Kaeru. In the Nau#2 area there will also be a Gastro zone with food trucks and gastronomy. The PUNX Fest was born in 2022 with the aim of offering an annual electronic art showcase in Nau 2 and turning it into a must-see destination for all lovers of good electronic music, becoming the epicenter of experiences of the Lower Llobregat Nord and, by extension, the province of Barcelona and Catalonia. RAFFA FL started his career when he was only 14 years old. In 2016, his track ‘How We Do’ marked his career by achieving worldwide success and becoming the main electronic song of that summer. Since then he has toured stages all over the world, mainly South America, and launched his own label, Howedo Music. Castion started producing his music when he was 14 years old. Seven years later, he has accumulated more than 36 original tracks, remixes and edits, with labels such as Spinnin’ Records, Revealed Recordings or Hexagon. He has collaborated with artists such as Jonas Aden, Godamb or Cruz Cafuné and has been played on radio stations around the world, managing to accumulate more than 500,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. Nuria Scarp producer and DJ, started her career in 2013. Today she has more than 5 EP’s on labels such as Nopreset Records, Deep Passion, Soleado Recordings, We Love House Recordings and Waldliebe Familien. With international projection, he has performed in countries such as England, France, Germany, Venezuela, Stockholm. Algeria, Peru or Morocco among many others. He has shared the stage with stars such as DJ Snake, David Guetta, Boy George or Cristian Varela. BRAIS is a young talent, DJ and producer from Barcelona with 13 years of experience. He has worked with some of the best record labels in the industry such as Revealsed Recordings, Smash de House or Blanco y Negro, receiving support from renowned artists such as David Guetta, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Hardwell, Dash Berlin and R3HAB. Kaeru is a young Spanish producer. At the age of 12 he became interested in music production and already has different singles that define his sound. In 2020 he signed with the label Different Records and already has a musical catalog in which the most dance genres stand out as well as hip-hop. WESTFORD, Mass., Feb.  13, 2019  (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Kadant Inc. (NYSE: KAI) today announced that Jeffrey L. Powell will be named president effective April 1, 2019 and chief executive officer and a director effective July 1, 2019, as part of a succession plan adopted by the board of directors. As part of the succession plan, Jonathan W. Painter will become executive chairman of the board of directors effective July 1, 2019. William A. Rainville, the Company’s current chairman of the board of directors, has decided not to stand for reelection as a director of the Company and will cease to be a director and the chairman of the board of directors when his current term ends at the Company’s 2019 annual meeting of stockholders. Mr. Powell has been a co-chief operating officer since March 2018 and an executive vice president for six years with supervisory responsibility for our Material Processing Group. He joined Kadant in 2008 and served in several capacities, initially having responsibility for our acquisition-related activities. Prior to joining Kadant, Mr. Powell was the chairman and chief executive officer of Castion Corporation, a provider of sustainable wastewater treatment and recovery solutions. Prior to Castion, Mr. Powell held various management positions at Thermo Electron Corporation, including chief executive officer and president of one of its publicly traded subsidiaries. The succession plan is designed to retain the services of Mr. Painter for one year from the appointment of his successor as CEO. In his new position as executive chairman, Mr. Painter will continue to participate in strategic planning and acquisition activities, consult with management on operational matters, and be responsible for corporate governance matters. Mr. Painter is expected to continue as a director in a non-executive role after his retirement on June 30, 2020. “After 27 years at Kadant and its predecessors, I am confident the succession plan announced today provides for continuity of leadership and maintains a strong team of leaders who can continue to build on Kadant’s successes,” said Mr. Painter. “I have personally known and worked with Jeff for more than 30 years since our early days at Thermo Electron.
