It also has a digital journal that offers an outlet for patients to express their thoughts and feelings as they navigate the path of their personal journeys. Essential features are the Request Help and Accept Help functions. The former takes the stress out of letting the patients’ support group know what they need help with the most, such as childcare, transportation, meals, etc. The Accept Help feature is what makes this app unique, by making it easy for family and friends to share all the ways they are available to help, while allowing the patient or caregiver to quickly accept the help offers they need most. The Wishlist feature takes the guesswork out of getting a gift patients or caregivers need, want, or wish for. It allows patients and caregivers to add products and experiences while making it easy for “CareCrew” members to share gift suggestions.
