Cupertino Electric has acquired California Data Center Design Group, a data center design, engineering, construction and project management company. Financial terms were not disclosed. San Jose-based Cupertino Electric said in a news release it expects the acquisition to bolster its data center service offerings. Data center work has been among the hottest in the Valley thanks to a server-farm building boom in recent years, and Cupertino Electric has carved out a strong piece of the market.
