Jaffa Woman Sentenced for Killing Mother in Dual Conviction With Boyfriend Woman gets 25 years, while boyfriend is yet to be sentenced, but is likely to get similar punishment for the murder of her mother for opposing their relationship Bar Peleg   Close Amir Marmash in a Tel Aviv court in 2018,Moti Milrod A young Israeli couple, Amir Marmash and Tracy Cadis, were convicted on Sunday of murdering Cadis’ mother in Jaffa two years ago for opposing their relationship. The couple pled guilty in a plea bargain to murder and obstruction of justice. Cadis was sentenced to 25 years in prison, while Marmash has not been sentenced yet, but is expected to receive a similar punishment. The proceedings were held behind closed doors because Cadis was a minor when the murder of her mother, Padilla, was planned. According to the indictment, the couple plotted the murder for several weeks, and the motive was the victim’s opposition to their relationship, in part on religious grounds. The victim, Padilla Qadis In addition to a 25-year prison term for each of them, as part of the plea bargain, Cadis and Marmash will pay compensation to the victim’s other children – Cadis’ siblings. Details of the crime revealed by the charge sheet show that on June 7, 2018 Tracy Cadis left the back door of her mother’s home unlocked and placed a scarf inside for Marmash to cover his face. At around 2:30 A.M. Marmash entered the home and showed Tracy his knife. They spent three hours in Tracy’s room, and she then asked him to carry out the murder. Related Articles When Marmash opened the door to her room, Padilla Cadis woke up, went into the hall and called for her daughter. When she noticed Marmash she screamed, “Take whatever you want and go away.” He stabbed her seven times, even after she fell down, and stopped only when the knife handle broke. Marmash then returned to Tracy’s room, made a hand gesture indicating that the murder was done and said: “I’m finished, what you wanted happened.” He washed the knife blade and the handle and tossed them into the trash. Marmash and Tracy cleaned the room to remove evidence. Marmash wrapped the body in a blanket and a sheet, placed it in a bathtub and locked the bathroom door, as part of their plan to tell relatives that Padilla had gone on vacation. Cadis and Marmesh met at the Jaffa high school they both attended. Marmash was arrested on the night of the murder. Tracy was arrested the following day.
