US: Cabin rental company Cabins for YOU has announced it has acquired fellow Gatlinburg-based cabin rental agency Chalet Village to create a Chalet Village by Cabins for YOU branch of the company. As a result of the acquisition, Cabins for YOU is taking on ten new employees and six contract cleaners, as well as a portfolio of new properties in the Ski Mountain area of Gatlinburg. Nancy Winter, the former owner of Chalet Village, said in a press release: “To sell has never been an option; they did not have the same values, expectations, and goals we had, until now. It is with much excitement that we announce we have met a group that will take our hard work, dedication, commitment, and success to the next level.” Family-owned business Cabins for YOU has served the areas of Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Sevierville since 2001, with cabin rentals ranging from one-bedroom cabins to large-scale lodges for groups. Amenities include private home cinemas, indoor pools, fully-equipped kitchens, indoor and outdoor dining areas, fireplaces, games rooms and wifi.
