B!T magazine Bit Magazine, As novas regras agora em vigência dizem que empresas deverão ter autorização de clientes para usar dados pessoais. Já está em vigor a Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD) no Brasil, depois de o presidente Jair Bolsonaro ter sancionado um projeto que estabelece o início da vigência da nova lei. O governo havia editado, ainda em Abril, uma MP que procurava adiar o início das regras de proteção de dados para maio do próximo ano e a Câmara aprovou o texto com um prazo que apontava para fim de 2020. No entanto, o Senado rejeitou as propostas. A LGPD é um dispositivo — que parte do modelo europeu — que estabelece padrões em relação a quais os dados pessoais ou sensíveis e define a forma como essa informação deve ser tratadas e armazenadas por empresas. São considerados dados pessoais, coisas como o nome, endereço, e-mail, idade, estado civil e situação patrimonial. A nova LGPD determina que o uso dos dados exige consentimento do titular.
