Akixi has announced that Sam Hoffpauir has joined the company as chief technology officer (CTO). The call reporting and business insights software company received investment from Axiom Equity in 2022 and, in his new role, Hoffpauir will work to execute Akixi’s product and market growth strategy. Hoffpauir (pictured) was formerly vice president of engineering for BroadSoft, where he was responsible for developments on the Cisco BroadWorks platform. He has over 30 years’ experience in telecoms and IT roles. Hoffpauir explained, “I’m looking forward to working with Craig Decker and the Akixi team to develop the business. Akixi is in the sweet spot of UCaaS business intelligence which holds the potential for the next wave of monetization and growth in the market.” Craig Decker, CEO, Akixi, added, “Sam brings huge senior engineering management experience to Akixi alongside unparalleled domain knowledge of Cisco and BroadSoft.
