By Kathleen Gallagher of the Journal Sentinel May 14, 2015 12:08 p.m. (0) Comments Brandbumps Marketing Group Inc. , a Middleton marketing firm, has raised $556,000 of a proposed $1.3 million offering, according to a filing with U.S. Securities and Exchange Comission. Brandbumps raised the money from eight investors, the filing said. With the new money, the company has raised a total of $1.6 million since January 2014, according to several filings with securities regulators . Brandbumps arranges to have advertising embedded in warning panels with bumps in them that alert people when they're nearing a street or parking lot. The company says on its website that its patent-pending product allows retailers to place messages on the warning panels, while having them still fulfill the purpose of providing pedestrian safety for the visually impaired. © 2015 , Journal Sentinel Inc.
