socaltech.com Borrego Solar Completes Large Solar Energy and Storage System San Diego-based renewable power developer Borrego Solar Systems said today that it has completed a set of fifteen solar-plus-energy storage systems in Massachusetts and New York. The company said the systems were build for AES Corporation, and total 96 megawatts of solar plus 50 MW/169 megawatt hours of energy storage. Financial details of the deal were not announced. The company says the systems will generate enough clean energy to power approximately 10,885 homes and offset 82,659 metric tons of climate-warming carbon dioxide emissions.
