Accura advised Zibra in connection with the transaction. The family-owned investment company Zibra, founded by the Danish entrepreneur and investor Niels Zibrandtsen, has sold 85% of the Danish fibre-optic company BornFiber to the British private equity fund iCON Infrastructure,an independent private equity fund specializing in infrastructure headquartered in London. BornFiber provides fibre-optic solutions for TV and internet access on Bornholm, and the company’s network covers 90% of Bornholm households. The sale of the controlling interest to iCON Infrastructure is intended to support future growth and expansion of BornFiber to cover the rest of Denmark and Northern Germany.
