April 4 by VCPOST Staff Reporter  Bjond Inc has secured $3.25 million in its first funding round with Draper Triangle Ventures as lead investor. TriStar Technology Ventures and Hopen Life Science Ventures also participated in the financing, according to News Medical. Draper Triangle Managing Director Will Indest said of Bjond's software: "We're very excited about Bjond and believe its impact on wellness will be profound. With BjondHealth, healthcare payers and providers can increase productivity in care management while reducing medical costs and improving patients' lives. " Bjond's flagship product is the workflow automation software BjondHealth. This tool helps inspire chronically ill patients achieve a change of attitude towards their sickness. Even those who are not ill but are afflicted by constant worry can also benefit from the said software. The Ohio-based firm will use the new capital raised to accelerate BjondHealth, the report detailed.
