David directs Rosemont's activities with respect to analyzing and valuing investment prospects as well as providing advice and counsel to Rosemont's holdings. He sources prospective investments and oversees the firm's relationships with service providers. He also is a member of the Investment Committee.</br></br>Prior to the formation of Rosemont,he directed the Mergers and Acquisitions Practice for Investment Counseling, Inc., assisting clients with the development and implementation of transaction-related strategies. Prior to joining IC in 1997, David gained over seven years experience in corporate finance and financial advisory consulting with the investment banking divisions of Smith Barney,Legg Mason Wood Walker and Coopers& Lybrand. In addition to his work as a financial advisor to companies, Mr. Silvera spent four years as a wine broker and importer in the international wine trade.</br></br>David holds a BA in English from Columbia College and a MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
