About BevyUp

BevyUp, operated by OMG Holdings, helps online retailers achieve greater engagement, differentiation and visibility by turning their online shopping sites into emotionally rewarding, social experiences. BevyUp's technology allows shoppers to launch collaborative browsing sessions with friends or experts to share and validate purchase decisions. The company operates as a fully integrative, interactive layer on top of a retailer's site. This keeps site traffic local, making the collection of business intelligence possible. Just as importantly, BevyUp provides a variety of interactive tools, including sentiment stickers, comment notes and even a drawing tool to foster greater consumer expression, all of which can translated into usable business intelligence for the online marketer. Unlike co-browsing technologies, BevyUp allows shoppers to collaborate in-real time or separately based on different schedules and availability.

Nordstrom acquires BevyUp and MessageYes to improve shopping experience

Mar 15, 2018

Thursday 15 March 2018 | 09:38 AM CET Nordstrom has acquired two separate companies, BevyUp and MessageYes , in an effort to improve its shopping experience with new technologies and tools. BevyUp’s platform enables store employees to communicate with their customers when they are out of store. Store associates can offer consumers personalized product recommendations and a feature may allow consumers to communicate and share information with each other. MessageYes will bolster Nordstrom's ability to send consumers personalized mobile messages from which consumers can make direct purchases. Both of these acquisitions should improve Nordstrom's ability to personalize its shopping experience, and give it more contact with consumers across channels to create a more seamless process. Consumers cite personalization as one of the most important parts of their shopping experience, but it can be difficult for retailers to offer a consistently individualized experience across all channels.
