- Printing Solutions Firm Continues Growth, Adds to Capabilities in King of Prussia - September 18, 2013 09:15 AM Eastern Daylight Time KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa.--( BUSINESS WIRE )--Ted Sherwin, president, and George Schnyder, owner and CEO of IBS Direct™ , a direct response printing solutions and marketing services firm, announced the company has purchased selected assets of Berkshire Printing, Inc. Greg LaCava, president of Berkshire Printing, Inc. joins IBS Direct as sales director. Based in King of Prussia, PA, IBS Direct offers high quality printing solutions, direct marketing program management and new marketing technologies to effectively implement and measure its customers’ campaigns. Berkshire Printing, Inc., located in New Milford, CT, is a full service commercial printing company specializing in direct mail, computer forms, letters and brochures. IBS Direct will maintain a presence in Connecticut, keeping a sales and service operation in place to best serve Berkshire Printing's loyal customer base built over the company's 20-year history. “Berkshire Printing has a proud history with many long time customers due to its dedication to superior customer service,” said Schnyder. “This new partnership is an incredible opportunity to synchronize the power of our two organizations. Current IBS Direct customers will benefit from Greg's industry knowledge. Berkshire's customers will gain access to an even greater array of offerings with the same quality customer service they've relied on for decades.” The deal also brings one 10-color press to IBS Direct's King of Prussia facility, significantly increasing in-house capabilities. Several Berkshire Printing employees have been offered positions with IBS Direct. The acquisition of Berkshire Printing is IBS Direct's third acquisition in less than two years. The company acquired Imtek, LLC in March 2012 and Mars Graphic Services, Inc. in November 2011. The printing solutions firm has grown tremendously, reporting 22 percent year-over-year revenue growth. The company is also proud to announce a jump on the Printing Impressions® list of top 400 printers in the U.S. in 2012, moving up from the 229th position to the 153rd position.
