Music Business Worldwide August 26, 2020 Music marketing and distribution platform Beatchain has added Louis Ifantis and Robert Morelli to its advisory board. Robert Morelli has over 15 years as President of both a distribution company as well as a label at Sony Music Entertainment and seven years at BMG. Meanwhile, as Head of Professional Services at Google, Louis Ifantis has a number of years’ expertise in software management and technology. Morelli and Ifantis join a board of advisors at Beatchain that already includes Allen Kovac, CEO of Better Noise Music and Tenth Street Entertainment, and Cliff Fluet, Partner at Lewis Silkin/Eleven Advisory. We first wrote about Beatchain back in 2018, when we told you about an executive behind a data management tool relied upon by a number of Fortune 500 companies. That exec, Ben Mendoza, is the founder of award-winning Telecom Expense Management (TEM) and Market Data Management (MDM) solutions provider, MDSL . His new UK-based company Beatchain boasts a team consisting of behavioural economists, PhD data scientists, artificial intelligence and machine earning experts and senior music industry executives.
