BCISim has discovered a major advancement in diagnosis and treatment with a new technology called predictive neuro-stimulation (PNS) to detect then prevent the occurrence of seizures. Our methodology has been implemented in patients with an 86% accuracy rate in predicting Epileptic seizures before they occur in children 8-12 years old. Our methods include finding the small, local area in the individual’s brain where initial seizure activity is measured. As this area grows and begins to take over the individual’s brain, we short-circuit this activity by sending a small electrical stimulation to the individual’s brain, thereby stopping the train of seizure pathologies. We have developed a neuro-device to predict and reduce seizures, and we are looking for investment to increase patient testing to quickly bring our product to market.
