Multimiljonair Kees Koolen bouwt verder aan zijn duurzame energie-imperium en neemt een fors belang in een bedrijf voor mobiele, schone energie Zijn bedrijf Koolen Industries heeft een meerderheidsbelang genomen in GreenBattery, dat duurzame energie opslaat in mobiele batterijsystemen. Eerder investeerde de voormalig Booking.com-topman en multimiljonair in onder meer roboticabedrijf Aziobot en Proton Ventures . Met Koolen Industries wil hij ervoor zorgen dat schone energie altijd beschikbaar is. Koolen Industries, de energie-investeringsmaatschappij van voormalig Booking.com-topman Kees Koolen, heeft een meerderheidsbelang genomen in GreenBattery, dat duurzame energie opslaat in mobiele batterijsystemen. Hoeveel geld er met de deal is gemoeid, is niet naar buiten gebracht. GreenBattery is in 2015 opgericht met als visie om dieselgeneratoren in de bouw, op evenementen en in de industrie te vervangen voor schone en stille batterijen. De investering van Koolen zal worden gebruikt om de groei van het bedrijf te versnellen. Koolen Industries bestaat sinds 2019 en investeerde onder meer in zonnepaneel-installatiebedrijf BonGo Solar, lithiumbatterijenproducent Super B, laadinfrastructuurbedrijf Floading Energy, Hardt Hyperloop, roboticabedrijf Aziobot en Proton Ventures .
