Ionescu & Sava advised the seller. Asseco SEE is an IT company providing customers with software and services. The company operates in 10 countries. Bithat Solutions is a Romanian company that specializes in data and document management solutions. According to Dentons, "through the acquisition, Asseco SEE continues its strategy of expanding its document management solutions and accelerating the growth of its business." "The acquisition of Bithat Solutions reconfirms Asseco SEE’s commitment to expanding its product and service portfolio in the area of digital document management and online services," Asseco SEE Country Leader Adrian Nastase commented. "By consolidating the IT solutions and expertise offered with Bithat, we mark an important step toward becoming one of the main providers on the Romanian market in the field of digitalization." "During the pandemic period, but especially after it, technology began to be used as an essential tool for maintaining the continuity of the activity of companies and public institutions," Bithat Solutions General Manager Daniela Boboc added. "Many organizations and governments have moved their operations and services online to limit physical interaction.
