Joyce, current Executive Chairman of Arxis, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Company. Mr. Joyce succeeds Gene Reilly, the founder of Arxis who is launching an asset management business. Mr. Reilly will continue to serve the Company as a member of its Board and will work closely with Arxis to further the Company's endeavors. Mr. Joyce is a recognized leader in the financial services industry, with distinguished expertise in domestic and international markets, regulatory reform, trading technology and client service. He has served as Arxis' Executive Chairman since the Company's founding and has been fully engaged with the firm and its operations during such time. Prior to joining Arxis, Mr. Joyce most recently was Chairman and CEO of Knight Capital Group, from which he retired in July 2013. Mr. Joyce joined Knight in May 2002 from Sanford C. Bernstein & Co, where he was Head of Global Trading. Prior to such time, Mr. Joyce spent close to fifteen years at Merrill Lynch, where he managed a host of major equity businesses and served as Head of U.S. Equities for several years.
