New Covent Garden Flower Market’s newest business Green & Bloom opened a web shop on January 3. Green & Bloom launched in October 2021 and combines the experience, expertise and supply networks of cut flower specialist Zest Flowers and plants purveyor Arnott & Mason. To enhance their existing offer of buying in person at the Flower Market the firm will have an industry-leading 15,000 lines available online, for deliveries in London and collection for customers both inside and outside the capital. All existing account holders will have already received a log-in for the new shop, as have new businesses who have registered their interest since the merger. The web shop will be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week When the Flower Market is closed for in person buying customers will be able to visit the web shop to see and purchase stock already in the Flower Market Orders made by 7am for produce not already in the Flower Market will be available for next day collection or delivery Orders made after 7am for produce not already in the Flower Market will be available two days later for collection or delivery “This offer is highly competitive with anything else that’s out there,” said Freddie Heathcote, Green & Bloom’s Business Development Director. “We have responded to customer demand, our customers value and enjoy coming to the Flower Market but they also want the option and convenience of being able to buy online and have their flowers and plants delivered. We are proud to be able to offer that to them. The way we are set up means that customers can buy seasonal flowers and plants directly from growers in Britain and around Europe; it’s not based on stock being held in a warehouse. No-one needs to worry about changes to the EU import regulations in January and July either – we’ll have all of that covered off for them. “We’re not sure right now how the Covid situation is going to affect businesses in our different customer groups, but we’ve generated a lot of interest and customers seem excited about the online opportunity and are pleased to see two businesses and two sets of people they know getting together to realise their combined potential.” The system can be tailored to create bespoke portals for customers and is designed to support the structure and requirements of their business, offering greater flexibility and control. Freddie asks anyone interested in exploring a bespoke option to talk to one of the Green & Bloom team. “We’re here to make our customers’ lives easier,” he said. “Please give us a call or come and see us at New Covent Garden Flower Market to find out what we can do for you.” Thank you Something went wrong with your message.
