Ansell acquires US glove makers for 5 million AxelaCare Health Solutions, a leading provider of specialty home infusion services, announced today that it has acquired Los Angeles-based ARC Infusion Corp. Inc. ("ARC Infusion"), a privately owned home infusion services company, from founder Rose Lee. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The acquisition will bring the number of AxelaCare pharmacies to 15, including four pharmacies in California, and expand the company’s service areas in Southern California. AxelaCare’s growing national coverage includes facilities in Arizona, California, Colorado, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, and Pennsylvania. Current ARC management and staff are expected to remain with the company. “ARC Infusion is a great addition for us as it builds our presence in California in both the IG (immunoglobulin) and acute home infusion markets,” said Ted Kramm, CEO of AxelaCare. “We are continuing to actively pursue acquisitions in California as well as other states to increase our geographic and product line diversification.” Acute home infusion covers a broad spectrum of therapies for patients discharged from hospitals and receiving infusion therapy at home. These include intravenous antibiotics, hydration, antiemetic, nutrition, inotropes, and other acute and chronic therapies delivered intravenously under a nurse’s care.
