UAE Business: Aramex to buy e-commerce enabler MyUS for $265m – Gulf Digital News Aramex, a leading global provider of logistics and transportation solutions, has entered into a binding agreement to fully acquire Access USA Shipping (MyUS) for a cash purchase price of $265 million. The acquisition is in line with Aramex’s strategy to expand its cross-border operations and to capitalise on the attractive growth opportunities from a fast-growing $4 trillion global e-Commerce sector. MyUS is a global technology-driven platform that enables cross-border e-Commerce providing cost-effective package forwarding solutions to millions of customers who shop from retailers based in the US, UK and China. Proprietary software MyUS has cutting-edge proprietary software and scalable technology, industry-leading expertise gained over its 24 years of operations and a customer-centric business model that innovatively addresses the needs of shoppers worldwide. The acquisition is expected to unlock several benefits for both entities, including operational synergies and improved efficiencies, shared technology platforms and the opportunity to service new markets.
