Rachel Cunliffe to bring experience of senior positions at AppSense and Avecto to Manchester LegalTech growing in US Share: Fast-growth firm Summize has bolstered its senior leadership team with the appointment of chief financial officer Rachel Cunliffe. The Manchester-based LegalTech is a contract lifecycle management disrupter which has experienced triple-digit percentage growth in each of the last three years. Cunliffe brings a wealth of knowledge to the senior team from previous roles in senior positions at other high-growth tech businesses, including AppSense and Avecto. Summize takes a different approach to solving the contract challenge by focusing on creating a user-friendly experience within existing work tools such as Microsoft Word, Teams and Slack. “It’s such an exciting time to be joining the Summize team,” said Cunliffe. “The product is solving a genuine problem for legal professionals, and the technology is truly innovative. “I am looking forward to working with the senior leadership team and wider business as we execute on the next phase of Summize’s growth.” Tom Dunlop, CEO at Summize, added: “We’ve been fortunate to grow tremendously over the years, and yet when you look at how many in-house legal teams are continuing to struggle with their contracts process, it’s clear we’re just getting started. “Rachel has a proven track record of optimising the finance and people engines at high-growth organisations, and I know she will make an immediate impact in our business. “She is a fantastic addition to our leadership team, and I’m looking forward to working closely with her as we fuel the growth of the business in the years ahead.”
