Dec. 15, 2022 Coral Tree Partners, a Los Angeles-based media and entertainment-focused private equity firm, has acquired AMI Entertainment Network, a digital jukebox business that provides in-venue digital music, video entertainment and advertising content to the bar and restaurant industries, from The Gores Group, a global investment firm, according to a press release. AMI, based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, with offices in Chicago and The U.K., operates more than 30,000 digital jukeboxes and video systems, delivering music, video and advertising content to patrons in venues throughout North America and the U.K. "Gores and AMI have enjoyed a highly successful partnership since 2017, marked by innovation in AMI's product portfolio, geographical expansion and execution on organic and inorganic growth initiatives," Alec Gores, chairman and CEO of The Gores Group, said in the press release. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
