Email: eevans@westcamp.com Westerville, Ohio- July 11, 2017- West-Camp Press, Inc. announces the acquisition of American Colorscans, Inc., expanding its print communications capabilities. This marks the second acquisition for the printing company in recent years. With this transaction, West-Camp sets itself apart by offering clients the broadest range of print capabilities few organizations can match. Founded in 1961, West-Camp is a full service printing and marketing firm. The company is known for its extensive capabilities including offset, digital and digital grand format printing, as well as fulfillment and direct mail. The acquisition adds large format screen printing to their arsenal and the ability to offer hybrid print solutions, combining traditional screen print with digital enhancements, along with expanding its current point-of-purchase solutions to its retail clientele. Ed Evans, West-Camp CEO, commented, “We are excited about the merger as we continue to expand our capabilities to better serve our customers. In addition to enhancing our offerings with screen print, American Colorscans brings very talented people with skills, drive, and industry knowledge.” American Colorscans was formed in 1987 as a color separator and has evolved into a large format graphics specialist. Bruce Westfall II, Colorscans President, explained, “We were approached by several companies to join forces, but none had the strategy, product portfolio, and growth potential of West- Camp. Their reputation in how they approach customers, vendors, and their employees led me to believe this merger would provide a great future for everyone.” With the acquisition, Westfall has joined the West-Camp management team. The combined company of West-Camp and American Colorscans will have over 150 employees and 100,000 square feet of manufacturing in multiple locations including Westerville and Columbus.
