Afrilife CEO Atanas Mluki visits GreenTec Capital and attends the Planet A Forum Paris (France) and Frankfurt (Germany), June 2018. Last week, AfriLife CEO Atanas Mluki was in Europe to attend the planet A International Forum on Agriculture. The forum brought together almost 400 company managers, searchers, professors, NGO representatives and public players coming from 32 countries in the whole world to imagine the solutions which will reinvent tomorrow’s Agriculture, take some commitments, and introduce some proposals to the highest level of States and organizations. The forum was also attended by GreenTec Capital and GreenTec Capital Foundation team members. Mr. Mluki’s trip began with a visit to the GreenTec Capital offices in Frankfurt where he had the opportunity to meet the GreenTec team and share some of his organic Tanzanian honey. The Frankfurt trip provided opportunities to plan and strategize on further business developments, as well as some investor meetings. One of Mr. Mluki’s objectives was to bring samples of his honey to potential buyers for testing, and the GreenTec team was happy to help with the taste tests. The Planet A forum was held on the at the Capitole Convention Center, Châlons-en-Champagne, on June 27-28 in France. Mr. Mluki was invited to participate in the “Initiatives and replicable solutions” panel and spoke about AfriLife’s work to promote sustainable forestry and apiculture practices and the potential for Tanzanian honey production. Mr. Mluki’s presentation was well received and generated some interesting potential partnership discussions. Mr. Mluki said “This was an amazing learning and networking opportunity. The knowledge and connections made here would have taken months to acquire otherwise.” GreenTec Capital team members Erick Yong as well as Sofien V. Sidhoum, we also in attendance. The forum provided excellent networking opportunities, including productive discussions with the Livelihood Fund and YPARD. Links
