The $1.05Minvestment will support the company’s technologicaldevelopment and launch to customers in internationalacademic and research institutions. Advemto is aphotonics system company that has developed unique completeturnkey solutions for ultrafast spectroscopy. Time-resolvedspectroscopy is widely used across a range of disciplinesand industries, from academic research to commercial andindustrial applications in chemicals, biological,pharmaceutical, optical, and electronics development andmanufacturing. The technology seeks to address weaknesses incurrently available instrumentation in the market, providingimproved speed, sensitivity, reliability, and analysis. As aturnkey system, Advemto is further reducing the barriers tonext generation research in areas such as materials, energy,environmental sciences, healthcare, and much more. Thetechnology is developed out of specialist researchspearheaded by Dr Kai Chen and Professor Justin Hodgkiss inthe Ultrafast Spectroscopy Lab at Te Herenga Waka VictoriaUniversity of Wellington and the MacDiarmid Institute.
