Operating data centres is not a part of Advania´s core offering, but services provided through partnerships with leading data centre operators. Through the divestment, Advania Finland can further streamline its IT-services offering with a best-of-breed partner handling the data centre operations. Key transaction highlights Advania has reached a definitive agreement to divest two data centre leasing contracts in Finland to atNorth, a Nordic data centre provider owned by the Partners Group. Advania enters into a multiyear co-location agreement with atNorth to secure robust data centre operations for existing and new customers. A strong team of data centre specialists will follow the transaction perimeter to ensure smooth transition and full operating capabilities from day one. Advania, with a heritage dating back to its inception in Iceland in 1939, is a leading IT-services provider in Northern Europe with operations in Sweden, Iceland, Norway, UK, Denmark and Finland. atNorth is a leading Nordic data centre services company offering environmentally responsible, power-efficient, cost-optimized data centre hosting facilities and high-performance computing services.
