Bill Burgess joined North Bridge in 2014; he has worked closely with emerging growth technology companies as an investor and adviser throughout his career. Since 2004, he has been a Managing General Partner at ABS Ventures. Prior to venture capital, Bill advised technology companies for two decades in matters of corporate finance and M&A primarily at Alex. Brown & Sons and subsequently at Deutsche Bank where he held a number of management positions including Vice Chairman of Global Corporate Finance, Group Head of Global Technology Investment Banking, and Managing Partner of DB Venture Partners. Clients included AOL, Powersoft, Wellfleet, Cascade, Security Dynamics, Marcam, Natural Microsystems, Cognos, EMC, BB&N, Hyperion, Parametric Technology, Cognex, Cypress Semi, ECI Telecom, Scitex and Tellabs. He holds a BA from Dartmouth College and a MBA from Harvard Business School.
Bill has deep experience on boards of public and private corporations as well as educational, cultural and environmental organizations. Bill’s current and past directorships include SpringCm, Firm 58, ClickSquared, Adeptra, HighRoads, Certona, FareChase, PowerDsine, Ohana, Clearforest and Hotbar. He currently serves as Trustee of Dartmouth College, The Geisel School of Medicine, the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Hospital, Issue One, The New England Aquarium (Immediate Past Chair) and Board President of St. Mark’s School.
Bob is ATV's East Coast lead partner for investments in information technology and is primarily focused on the internet, digital media and software sectors. He has been with ATV since 2002 and is an active board member of Acme Packet (NASDAQ:APKT), Actifio, Apptegic, ChannelAdvisor (NYSE: ECOM), and [x+1]. Named to Forbes’ Midas list for two consecutive years, Bob was instrumental in Acme Packet's public offering, one of the most successful IPOs in the communications sector of the decade.
Erez joined Greylock Partners in 2005 and in 2006 was a founding partner of Greylock IL, now 83North. He currently focuses on Enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, virtualization, security, storage, and software. Erez is a member of the boards of Actifio, Zerto, Panoramic Power , Wandera and GuardiCore (Observer)
Prior investments and board positions include Precise Software (Idera), Camero (SK Group) and ScaleIO (EMC).
Previously, Erez held senior executive positions with EMC Corp. in Hopkinton MA.
Jamie Goldstein joined North Bridge Venture Partners in 1998. Prior to joining North Bridge, Jamie co-founded PureSpeech, a venture-backed speech recognition software and applications company targeting service providers and enterprise call centers. Jamie served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing, driving revenue through OEM relationships with leading PC manufacturers and voice services platform providers. PureSpeech was acquired by Voice Control Systems (NASDAQ: VCSI) and subsequently sold to Scansoft (NASDAQ: SSFT).Before PureSpeech Jamie was an early employee with Symmetrix, a provider of manufacturing execution software that helped old-line manufacturing companies streamline their operations.
