Bastille has focused on cellular RF location tracking more than cybersecurity intrusion detection capabilities. Although detecting unauthorized cellular devices is important, customers wants a bigger bang for the buck i.e. broader RF IoT visibility into other IoT risk as well as cellular IoT. LOCH does a better job of identifying wireless IoT threats for a lower cost of ownership and has broader comprehensive wireless attack database

This is a fairly new start-up. LOCH has 10 patents in front of them plus partnerships with AT&T, DELL, Deloitte to name a few who are more familiar with our wireless IoT security perform. Our ARR is significantly ahead of them but we need t keep an eye on them. LOCH Technologies Provides…

AirDefense was the industry leader in 2006 - 2013. The technology has been sold multiple times, first from Motorola Solutions to Zebra Networks, then from Zebra to Extreme Network. No innovation took place during this period and the wireless threat landscape has moved on. The technology has not kept pace with the new wireless IoT protocols now in use like SIGFOX, LR-WPAN (802,15.4), Zigbee to name a few. There is no zero-trust enforcement with AirDefense and you have that with LOCH/AirShield. AirDefense is limited to 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz monitoring only.
