The acquisition will provide DTI's and 1Ticket's common clients with a more streamlined ticket resale process and enhanced customer service, and improved coordination with resale marketplaces. In addition, DTI will be able to draw on the many years of industry experience and technological acumen of the 1Ticket team, led by co-founder Jason Knieriem, to provide unique insights and ideas into the building of DTI's "next generation" ticket distribution platform. As a result of this acquisition, the two companies will now have more than 100 employees in the aggregate, and will work together to improve the existing 1Ticket-to-DTI integration. At the same time, 1Ticket will continue to service the ticket broker community on a stand-alone basis, independently of any one marketplace or point-of-sale.
