After raising a $2.5B fund in 2012, New Enterprise Associates leads the pack with the most investments in 2012. Kleiner Perkins and Google Ventures round out the top 3.

Our 2012 Venture Capital Activity Report released earlier today included a ranking of the 20 most active VC investors of 2012. Although the full 72-page data & trends report is only available to CB Insights customers, below is the list of the 20 most active venture investors of the past year.

    I’m assuming you aren’t counting convertible notes, just equity rounds? 500 Startups is one of the most active VC funds, surprised we aren’t listed here.
