2015 was a high-water mark for real estate tech startups, which raised $1.7B in funding. The industry is maturing quickly, with a flurry of deals this year. For example, in February 2016 RealtyShares and NoBroker raised Series B rounds of $20M and $10M, respectively.

We used the CB Insights Mosaic algorithm, which provides predictive analytics on the health of private companies, to assess early-stage startups in the space (Series A or seed/angel companies). The list of companies below have raised financing in 2015 or 2016 year-to-date, have less than $17M in total funding, and show other positive metrics, including jobs data or recent news mentions, among other signals parsed by Mosaic.
