Green Tech Program Manager / Analyst

We are working with a leading economic development organization to attract investment capital (venture capital, private equity, angel investment) to their region with a specific focus on clean technologies. The Market Strategy, Planning and Program Management role will have significant responsibility for raising awareness of the region amongst the investment community, clean tech entrepreneurs and the larger clean tech community.
Specifically, the Green Tech Analyst will:
- Identify clean tech investors and develop relationships with them through direct contact and other marketing efforts to create awareness of the region's clean tech efforts
- Develop data-driven content and research that investors, clean tech entrepreneurs and other affiliated parties will find useful and which will establish and enhance the region's clean tech efforts and overall brand
- Coordinate a series of events that feature clean tech thought leaders, entrepreneurs seeking financing and the investment community. Events may be in-person or online
- Structure analytical approaches and develops project strategies and tactics
- Consult with client to gather their feedback and consult on a wide range of issues related to the strategy formulation process, including new growth opportunities
- Develop and manage an overall marketing and project plan to ensure that deadlines are achieved and that program objectives are being reached
Education, experience and skills required:
- 5-10 years of total experience
- Existing knowledge and experience of clean tech industry and trends via past jobs
- Clear evidence of a passion for clean tech
- Understanding of entrepreneurship and investment esp at early-stages
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a proven ability to influence and for presentations
- Affable and able to develop new relationships
- Existing relationships with the clean technology community (investors, entrepreneurs, bankers, etc)
- Analytical and highly conversant with Excel and conducting data-driven analyses
- Organized and able to independently manage complex and concurrent project objectives
- Strong relationship management skills
- Ability to independently draft and present client deliverables, recommendations, and communications strategies
